How much does a solar system cost in Kenya?+
Our Family Package (3-bedroom home) costs KSh 330,000. The Standard Package for medium homes costs KSh 496,000. For a bigger home, the Premium Package is KSh 950,000 and the Ultimate Package is KSh 1,080,000. Starter systems begin from KSh 95,000. Use the quote tool above to see your own price.
How much can I save on my KPLC bill?+
Most homes reduce their electricity bill by 70–90%. A home paying KSh 10,000 per month can pay as little as KSh 1,000–1,500 after installing solar. The system pays for itself in 3–4 years. After that, you get near-free power for the next 20+ years.
Does solar work when KPLC power goes off?+
Yes — if your system has a battery, which all our hybrid packages include. When KPLC goes off, your system switches to battery power automatically. You won't even notice the power cut. Your lights, fridge, TV and other appliances keep running normally.
How long does installation take?+
A home system normally takes 1 to 2 days. Bigger commercial or farm systems take 3 to 5 days. After installation, we set up your monitoring app so you can see how much power your system is making every day.
Can I get a discount?+
Yes — we can offer a small discount of up to 5%. You can enter this in the quote tool above after you see your price. Bigger system installations or bundle deals can qualify — ask us when you contact us.
